Do you want to Build your Own Brand? How to market yourself? In this article, I will help you understand to grow your Personal Brand with the help of Digital Marketing. I will talk about how to use simple and useful tactics to understand Marketing
This content will be useful for anybody who can read this and wants to build your personal image, status, and recognition in any walk of life as we are constantly marketing ourselves.
Everything is governed by your thought process, If you have read the book "The Secret" - the law of attraction tells us whatever you think will happen provided you are willing to go the extra mile and work on that one thing to achieve success, wealth, health and happiness. The same applies to Marketing, we can call it Laws of Marketing.
The aim of Marketing is to understand and know what the person or consumer wants and provide your service which will fit the person's needs and henceforth it will help you sell your product or services without any marketing, It means to build trust and emotional connection with people which will buy the products itself. For Eg Toothpaste=Colgate.
Bata=Shoes, Biseleri = Water. People will start identifying you with your own Brand. The aim of marketing is to stamp your Brand Name in people's mind heart and souls which will capture
market share or position. Ultimately you do not have to do marketing and by just word of Mouth the product can sell itself.
There are few Fundamentals of Marketing that you need to understand.
1. Focus on a great quality product that can sell itself.
2. Never give importance to How to Market product/service. Develop Awesome Product/Service you will need to do less Marketing.
3. Marketing also involves Advertising, Sales, Copywriting, promotion on various Channels (Digital, TV, Outdoor, etc.).
4. You need to develop a positive trustful perception in people's minds about your product/service.
Understanding Digital MArketing v/s Traditional MArketing.
Traditional MArketing is what you have seen/hear in form of ads on TV, Radio, newspapers, magazines where you are able to serve millions with your products.
Digital MArketing is using online channels on the Internet like Websites/Social Media/youtube etc.
The Key to a great marketing campaign is to find the right balance between the two as both are important and play a very precise role when you do it with perfection. There are pros and
cons for both and you have to strategize accordingly with the budget in hand. You need to identify the target audience and reach of each medium and plan accordingly. The only thing that stands out is digital marketing is measured and traditional marketing is not but if you have a combination of Both, everything with Traditional Marketing can be measured to some extent.
For eg if you show ads on TV/Radio/Newspaper etc drive them to provide email or have them subscribed with a questionnaire to know where they came from.
Direct Response Marketing would be ideal marketing where you ask people to take action. In technical terms, there should be a call to action like a newspaper ad with telephone no or a website page with a subscription and a link to purchase the product.

C= Content can be in form of videos and images to attract the niche you are in, Content can be built with Email, social media marketing, blogs, podcast, etc.
A= Attention Your content should grab attention and emotionally help the consumer to sign in or subscribe to your service.
T= Trust Building trust is most important by providing quality products/services as in the digital world it takes time to build trust and seconds to destroy it. To build rapport with customers with emails, customer support and keep the customers happy.
T= Translation Trust building will help you to translate into sales as the consumers become the marketers of your product/services.
Integrated Digital Marketing is a tool you need to develop to drive traffic to your service/product. Never sell a product directly instead drive people to your content by running
paid ads/email marketing/Facebook ads to your content, get people into your email list first. Generate attention to your content rather than links to payments. This will work both ways as people will first like the content and then subscribe to your newsletters and youtube channels and will come back to purchase the product/service/ It helps your rankings and Google youtube will promote your products without spending any dime. This framework helps in building trust through the content and how it should be executed.
Communication Skills
Good Marketing is about having good communication which means you can communicate your thoughts in people's minds by knowing what they want and providing it effectively. It does mean you need to have a command of the language, it should be kept simple and just enough to convey your thoughts and offering to your end customer. To Develop communication read books update your knowledge on the niche and products keep learning, With experience and willingness to learn you can master communication skills.
Economics
Every Marketer should understand the Basics of Global Economics. You need to study the target market and plan accordingly to launch your service and product.
Lastly Your Personal Brand
To build your personal brand you need to evolve yourself with this mantra Learn Earn Repeat. You need to be master your niche by constantly learning and updating yourself. Put your learning skills to work by working in a company and implement them. Start your own Blog as when you write you bring your thoughts to the table and you constantly start building your brand.
After a specified time you will master this art and now you are ready to consult others and start freelancing or 1-on-1 consultation. Once people benefit through your consultation you can start mentoring others and you can scale your business to the next level. After this, you are in a position to build a startup as a brand name is already established and you need little marketing to sell your product.
